01. Paid Services
For Services requiring payment (SaaS subscriptions, software licenses, configuration or consulting services), the Customer shall have a period of 14 calendar days from the date of purchase or first payment to request a full refund, provided there has been no substantial use of the service that prevents its reversal (e.g., full data download or consumption of already‑executed customized resources). Requests must be made in writing to our billing department.
02. Renewals
Automatic renewal subscriptions will be notified at least 15 days in advance. If an unwanted renewal charge occurs, the Customer has 7 days from the charge to request cancellation and refund.
03. Customized Products and Services
Custom development, bespoke implementations, or consulting hour packages are non‑refundable once work has commenced, except in the event of contractual breach by the Company.
04. Exceptions
This policy does not exclude any statutory withdrawal rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.
05. Applicable Regulations and Jurisdictional Compliance
Applicable regulations. This Refund Policy is governed by the consumer protection laws of the State of Mississippi and the State of Florida, depending on which HSO Technology entity you have contracted with, as well as by applicable United States federal law. Any dispute regarding refunds shall be resolved in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions.
Force majeure. HSO Technology shall not be liable for delays or inability to process a refund due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, fire, flood, acts of terrorism, pandemics, banking or internet system failures, or unforeseen legislative changes.
Governing law and dispute resolution. This Policy shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Mississippi for services contracted with Huron Smith Oil Co Inc or HSO Petroleum Services LLC, and the laws of Florida for services contracted with HSO Global LLC. Any dispute shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation and, if not resolved within 30 days, to the appropriate county courts as set forth in the General Terms and Conditions.
