- The Company will never ask you by email, SMS or instant messaging to disclose your full password, banking details, or credit card information in an unencrypted manner.
- All legitimate emails from our official domains will come exclusively from addresses ending in @hsotechnology.com, @huron-smith.com, or verified corporate domains. Be suspicious of similar addresses with slight variations.
- If you receive a suspicious communication purporting to be from HSO Technology, do not click on any links or download attachments. Contact us immediately through official channels to verify its authenticity.
Incident reporting. If you believe you have been a victim of phishing related to our Services, notify us immediately at the security email address provided in the contact section. We will cooperate to the extent possible to mitigate the effects and report the incident to the relevant authorities.
Technical measures. Our Site employs SSL/TLS certificates, multi‑factor authentication on internal systems, and monitoring for impersonation attempts to protect the integrity of communications.
02. Regulations Applicable to the Anti-Phishing Policy
Applicable regulations. This Anti‑Phishing Policy is framed within our compliance with the U.S. Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), as well as Mississippi and Florida consumer protection laws that prohibit deceptive practices. We cooperate with authorities in prosecuting cybercrimes.
Force majeure. HSO Technology shall not be liable if a third party impersonates our identity using phishing techniques that circumvent reasonable detection systems, provided we have implemented the described security measures. In any event, we will work to mitigate the effects and notify those affected as required by applicable laws.
Governing law and dispute resolution. Any phishing incident involving HSO Technology shall be governed by the laws of Mississippi or Florida depending on the affected entity and by federal law. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts indicated in the General Terms and Conditions.
